Step 1 The function keys can easily be pried off the computer. They’re held in place by small plastic routainers. Leverage a fingernail or nail file under an edge and gently lift up. Remove the clockworks from the existing face. (In my case, this required pulling off the top pin that held the clock hands in place. I was then able to slide off the hour, minute and second hands. With the help of a small wrench, I released the nut that clamped the clockworks to the face. The small battery-powered clockworks, along with the empty post, slid easily off the back of the old clock face.)
